Vallemossa offers a special charm with its steep streets and narrow

It remains in the town the birthplace of Santa Catalina Tomás.Y also highlights the XIII century church, rebuilt in the XVIII.

Its main attraction is the Cartuja (Monastery) of Valldemossa and the memories that she left in the winter of 1838-39 the romantic couple's stay composed by Chopin and George Sand. Chopin wrote his Preludes Op 28 there and Sand wrote A Winter in Mallorca.

For the Cartuja spent time the likes of Rubén Darío, Jorge Luis Borges, Jovellanos, Santiago Rusiñol and many others.
